In October 2009 Currituck Commissioner Owen Etheridge appointed me to the Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB). Three years later I was re-appointed by Commissioner Kevin McCord.
The EDAB was asked by the Board of Commissioners to develop a long range plan for future economic growth of the County. My focus was the Currituck Outer Banks assisted by fellow EDAB members Elizabeth White and C.A. Howard. This is the discussion document from our first meeting with citizen groups.
